Who…
Teddy Mathias is a graduate of the Yale School of Art MFA, where he won the Phelps Berdan Memorial award. He lives and works in Brooklyn, NY where he runs Studio Mathias, a creative studio and design consultancy. He teaches courses in emerging practices at Pratt Institute and previously at CalArts.  He worked as an art director on Apple, as a fellow at the IDEO CoLab, and toured for many years in the band Filligar. His work aims turns the overfamiliar spaces and images we encounter daily into catalysts for play and exploration using game engines, mobile devices, typography, AI, earth materials, and augmented reality.
